My BFF, Teresa and her BF, Duane (can you tell I have teens by the lingo?....LOL) invited us to a pre-season Detroit Lions game on Aug 23, 2008. The new Ford Field is fabulous! What a nice stadium. The game was great, Detroit won 26-6 over the Browns.
I know that Detroit has a reputation that may tend to scare many but I love it there. I love the sights, smells and sounds of Detroit. There is always excitement going on everywhere.
After the game, we went to a phenominal restaurant in Greektown called, Fishbones. I had a vegetarian roll (avocado and cucumber wrapped in seaweed and rice)...so good and a pasta dish that was filled with different veges and pesto. And the rest of the table had chicken and fish...carnivores! I even found out that Wendy Williams ("How you doin'?") sat in the same chair that I was sitting in just prior to our visit. I just love her!
So, all in all, we had a wonderful evening. Good game, great dinner and excellent company! Thanks Teresa and Duane!

omg i just erased everything I typed. Ok so I'm not a blogger. My bff has to be forgiving since we took her to the Lions game. Duane and I had an equally enjoyable time with equally good company. Tonya and Art are such good friends, they only mentioned the proximity of Greektown Casino a FEW times. I do have a little restraint (sometimes!). Love ya sister! Good luck with this blog stuff! T
